Stomp MS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that brings increased awareness of Multiple Sclerosis and provides educational information for those living with MS. We are a part of a global movement of millions of people working toward a world free of MS. Multiple Sclerosis (MS) to is a devastating disease that has quickly and quietly attacked many people throughout the world and there is no known cure for the disease however, there are a number of treatments which may reduce the severity of the symptoms. MS, is labeled as an auto immune disorder in which the body's immune system attacks its own nervous system; starting with myelin (the protein-covering that protects the nerves). When myelin and underlying nerves are damaged in people living with MS, major complications can occur; which consists of the brain and spinal cord damage. Currently, there is no evidence (just theories) linking MS to hereditary or environmental factors. However with your help we can all find a way to "stomp" our way to raise awareness, fight back and share our time to find the cure! As you learn more about MS, please remember the individuals who are diagnosed every day that have no idea what Multiple Sclerosis is and how life changing it will become. Please share with your family and friends the importance of finding a cure, so that it may touch someone's family or save someone's life!
